Paz and Code ("we," "us," "our") respects your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect when you visit https://pazandcode.com or contact us, how we use it, and the choices you have.

Information you provide. When you submit our contact form, we collect your name, email address, project type, budget range, and the message you send. We only ask for what we need to reply to your inquiry.

Automatic information. Our hosting provider (Vercel) and DNS provider (Cloudflare) may log standard request data — IP address, browser user-agent, referring URL, and timestamp — for security, abuse prevention, and performance monitoring. We do not use third-party advertising or tracking cookies on this site.

2. How we use your information

We use the information you provide to:

Respond to your inquiry and discuss a potential engagement.
Send project-related communications if you become a client.
Maintain the security and integrity of the Site.
Comply with legal obligations.

We do not sell, rent, or share your information with third parties for their own marketing purposes.

3. Service providers

We use a small number of service providers to run the Site:

Vercel — hosting and deployment.
Cloudflare — DNS and domain registration.
Email provider — to deliver and store contact-form messages.

These providers process data only on our behalf and under their own privacy and security commitments.

4. Cookies

This site does not use tracking or analytics cookies. Our hosting provider may set a limited set of functional cookies to preserve security and session state; these are not used to profile you across sites.

5. Data retention

We keep contact-form submissions for as long as needed to respond to your inquiry and, if we enter an engagement, for the duration of the project plus a reasonable period for our business records. You can ask us to delete your information at any time.

6. Your rights

Depending on where you live (including under the EU GDPR and California CCPA), you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete the personal information we hold about you, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise any of these rights, email us at hello@pazandcode.com. We'll respond within 30 days.

7. Security

We use reasonable administrative and technical measures to protect your information — HTTPS everywhere, access controls on our hosting dashboard, and regular security updates. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Children

The Site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent revision. If we make material changes, we'll post the updated policy here.
